END FGM European CampaignFORWARD is the UK partner of END FGM which is a European campaign led by Amnesty International Ireland in partnership with 14 organisations in the European Union. The campaign aims to put FGM high on the European Union agenda and to echo the voices of women and girls living with FGM and those at risk. The campaign advocates for the recognition of human rights and lobbies EU institutions to ensure that the EU adopts a comprehensive and coherent approach towards ending FGM. To Mark International Day of Zero Tolerance to FGM 2012A video was released on 3rd February by END FGM European Campaign, this video calls on European leaders to take action to END FGM. - |
