Saving Waltham Forest PCT African Well Women's ClinicGREAT NEWS!!The African Well Woman's Service at Waltham Forest has been secured for at least another year for external/out of borough drop-ins. The PCT has responded to our pressure and is reviewing the possibilities regarding recharging of clients in the long term. There is now new senior management and if there is a need for further action there will be updates on this website in due course. For now, we would like to give A BIG THANKS to all of you who supported us with letters and voice. It is improving the way the PCT manages the transition from one commissioning body to the next and we are keeping on top of them to ensure they follow up on the review of the out of borough drop ins, thereby ensuring the long term work of the service is maintained.
