As Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) is such an emotive issue, press coverage is often not balanced or sensitive to the sensibilities of communities. FORWARD wishes to be a media friendly organisation and seeks every opportunity to ensure that FGM and Child Marriage issues are accurately reported in the UK and the international press.
