FORWARD meets the Artist Gabrielle PoolOctober 4th 2006 On the 3rd October 2006, some of the FORWARD team had the pleasure of meeting the artist Gabrielle Pool, at the opening of her latest exhibition in London. Gabrielle is a great supporter of FORWARD and it is her stunning paintings depicting African and Tribal scenes and women which grace the FORWARD website and some of our Annual Reports. The exhibition is based on her stay in East Africa with the peoples of the Hamer tribe in the Omo river valley. It contains beautiful images of people, livestock and landscape painted on linen canvas which bring the images to life. The exhibition is being held at the Square One Gallery, 592 Kings Road London, from October 3rd - 27th 2006.
