Condolences

FORWARD regrets to inform our supporters of the death of two committed women in the campaign against Female Genital Mutilation (FGM). Betty Knights and her husband died in a car crash a month ago. Betty was the president of the Inner Wheel Club of Hadley Wood and Cockfosters. She was a very keen supporter and raised many funds for FORWARD. We are grateful to her and will sadly miss her concern and commitment to women who suffer from FGM.

Another key fundraiser for FORWARD, Jo Bryant, sadly passed away recently. She and her friends have raised thousands of pounds for our Kano project in Nigeria, specifically for the women suffering from VVF. She has held many garden parties in Kent to raise awareness and funds. This dedicated and instrumental supporter will be a great loss to us all.
