Job title: Communications and Digital Fundraising Officer

Location: West London with home-working flexibility

Reports to: Head of Evidence and Knowledge Management

Responsible for: Interns and freelancers

Salary: £25,500 – £27,500

Hours of Work: 35 hours a week

Duration: 12-month fixed-term contract, (possibility of renewal, subject to funding)

Benefits: Access to a 3% pension contribution and 25 days annual leave per year.  We also provide employees two days additional “duvet days” between Christmas and New Year.

About the role

This is an exciting time to join FORWARD and help us drive the next chapter of our digital communication strategy. You will play a key role in strengthening our digital presence and user experience, ensuring creative and engaging content across our website, social medial and marketing programmes.

In response to the pandemic, we’re also accelerating our plans to develop our digital fundraising activity, engage new audiences with our cause, and inspire these individuals and groups to donate and fundraise for us. You will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to this important work.

Working closely with the Head of Evidence and Knowledge Management this role includes:

  • Leading on all of FORWARD’s communications and digital fundraising activities
  • Growing our digital and social media presence and helping to increase our online donations.
  • Leading on FORWARD’s communications, overseeing the content and design of all marketing materials and publications and managing arts projects and collaborations.

About you

We think this role will suit someone who wants to expand their skills and experience while working for a leading women’s charity. You will be an analytical, proactive and creative person with experience developing content for digital platforms such as websites and social media. Experience of monitoring and analysing performance data and audience insights to improve and adapt user journeys will also be essential.
