Hours of Work: 21 hours (with potential for flexible hours)
Duration: 2 years fixed term with possibility for extension
Salary: £30,500 – £33,500 pro rata
FORWARD is the African women-led organisation working to end violence against women and girls. From female genital mutilation and child marriage to domestic and sexual violence, we tackle abuse and discrimination – enabling African women and girls to have the dignity, health and equality they deserve.

About the role
This is an ideal opportunity to make a significant contribution to the growth of FORWARD’s income and help expand our work. The Fundraising and Business Development Manager will be required to identify new funding opportunities and build relationships with existing funders and donors to support FORWARD’s financial growth and sustainability. This is an influential role working with the Executive Director.
You will lead and oversee the delivery of the FORWARD Fundraising Strategy. You will also grow, diversify and strengthen the sustainability of the organisation and be part of the senior management team.
To succeed in this role, you will be an inspiring fundraising leader who is supporter-driven and results-focused. You will have experience of long-term strategic and tactical planning, and visionary in the charity sector.
As our Fundraising and Business Development Manager, you will be required to work remotely for now, but will be expected to be based at the London office when the office eventually re-opens. Please note, this is a part-time role, and, subject to availability of funding, carries the possibility of increasing hours of work.
