Following 16 Days of Activism, we are delighted to share that we have been successful in our bid to secure funding from The National Lottery Community Fund, the largest funder of community activity in the UK.
This funding will enable us to scale up the Mend the Gap Project to phase 2, which is focused on tackling multiple forms of violence against women and girls within African communities in the UK. This project will also see us work closely with Refugee Women of Bristol and Home Girls Unite, who are long-term FORWARD partners!
The National Lottery Community Fund also funded the first phase of the Mend the Gap project. We would like to say a huge thank you to National Lottery players who have helped to make this change for us!
