As an organisation that has been working on FGM in the UK and Africa for over 30 years, FORWARD is a leading expert in this field. Our certified training are designed to equip educators, health professionals and other frontline staff with the knowledge, skills and confidence to respond appropriately and effectively to both affected and at risk women and girls.

Using a participatory approach, our training raises awareness of the context these harmful practices occur, and the physical, emotional and psychosocial impact on women and girls and the laws set in place to protect them. Our training, consultancy, and events embrace the most up to date theory in addressing Female Genital Mutilation and other forms of violence against women and girls in UK, Europe and Africa.

Our trainings are tailored and structured to meet the needs of our clients while at the same time upholding our mantra of ”DO NO HARM.’ We also are pleased to offer Open College Network (OCN) accredited courses for professionals and frontline staff.
