2021-2022 Annual Report: Championing the Rights of African Women & Girls

We are pleased to be launching our latest annual report for 2021 – 2022: ‘Championing the Rights of African Women and Girls’!

Over the past two years, we have continued to make incredible progress in our work. From the inspiring achievements of our TuWezeshe fellows and delivering professionals’ training online, to working with partners to change the law on child marriage and partnering with UNFPA to tackle VAWG – we have not relented in fighting for the people who rely on us.

It’s no secret that the COVID-19 pandemic brought unprecedented disruption to our way of life and working, but our generous supporters and our steadfast commitment to our organisational goals no doubt kept us going. Throughout our report, we share insights and influential stories of change. Join us in celebrating our achievements by reading and sharing far and wide!

…As always, we are hugely grateful to the communities, women and girls, and our cherished donors and supporters who have enabled us to achieve our charitable missions – for which we will continue fighting unreservedly in 2023 and beyond! – Dr Titilola Banjoko (Chair, Board of Trustees)
