‘Transforming lives together’ has always been at the heart of FORWARD’s mission to end violence against women and girls (VAWG). Despite rising demand and a challenging socio-economic and political climate, our work continues to highlight the power of collective action, courageous changemakers, and strong partnerships in driving meaningful and lasting change.
We recognise and value the diverse skills, perspectives, lived experiences, and resources that make this transformation possible. Over the past year, we have reflected on our strategy, strengths and services, and worked collaboratively to chart a renewed course, building on our legacy to strengthen how we respond to violence and abuse affecting African, Black and minoritised women and girls.
