Apply to be a Mentor for the Tuwezeshe Feminist Leadership Fellowship

We’re looking for African, Black and minoritised women of any age  to mentor the next generation of changemakers tackling violence against women and girls.

You don’t need to be an expert or hold a fancy title. You just need to:

  • Have a genuine interest in mentoring and supporting young women
  • Care about ending gender inequality
  •  Identify as an African, Black or minoritised woman

As a mentor, you’ll be matched with a Fellow aged 18–30 as she leads her own social action project over the course of a year. Our Fellows work across a wide range of projects–from social media campaigns and books to event hosting, community workshops and more–so whatever your background or experience, there’s a Fellow who could benefit from what you bring.

Your guidance, lived experience and encouragement could be the thing that makes all the difference.

Give back. Stay inspired. Be part of something bigger.

Application deadline 31st May 2026.
