Demonstrating Evidence-Based Activism to End FGM: Zero Tolerance Day in Bristol

For the International Day of Zero Tolerance for FGM, FORWARD and Refugee Women of Bristol will be celebrating our community engagement and bringing together the work of key agencies, communities and individuals.

We will also have a presentation by Dr Leena Elhedi (Health Advocate) who will highlight the work of the FGM specialised Bristol Community Rose Clinic.

The conference aims to:

  • Exchange knowledge on community-based research
  • Showcase leadership and activism of community champions
  • Facilitate networking and collaboration across  sectors working to end FGM
