Our support services during COVID-19

Our support services during COVID-19

In this time of crisis, we are still here to support you. All our support and counselling services are now available online and via telephone.

We know that during Coronavirus women will be hit hardest. Many in isolation face increased risk of violence, and others with uncertain migration status will now face reduced access to economic, legal and health support.

We provide advice and support on female genital mutilation, forced marriage, domestic abuse, sexual violence, and any other form of violence affecting women and girls. We won’t judge you. We will help you to understand your options and provide you with the support that you need. We can give you one-to-one advice and support, counselling sessions, or refer you to other specialist services (e.g. FGM clinics or legal services). We also welcome for you to share with us any additional support you may need.

If you, or someone you know, need support or simply want someone to talk to, please contact us now.

If you are in an emergency, or if you or someone you know is an immediate risk of violence or FGM, call the police on 999. If you are unable to talk, you can make a Silent Call from your mobile to the police by dialing 999– then 55. This will alert the police that you are in an emergency. Here is more guidance on how to make a silent call.
