Seasons Greetings 2025
As we round up the end of the year, it is also a time to reflect, share and thank our dedicated Friends of FORWARD, our amazing funders, our solid partners and our fabulous patrons, trustees and staff who make our work possible and helped turn around a challenging year!
We were truly privileged for your support in our 40th anniversary campaign on Seeds of Change. One of our supporters summed up her experience at our 40th anniversary event. “What a magnificent evening with so many friends, beautiful young people, admiring supporters and great contributions”.
This December we joined the global campaign for 16 Days of Activism to End Gender-Based Violence under the theme “UniTE to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls.” As technology evolves, so do the new forms of violence women and girls experience. We strengthened our collaboration with a number of our partners, focusing on events, social media advocacy, engaging stakeholders, local councils, community practitioners, African, black and minoritised communities.
We joined global conversations with NoMore, and their partner Centre for Public Impact in their annual EVAW Day Global Livestream, where we shared frontline lessons with other partners and had opportunity to also network with survivors, activists and creators.
Our new campaign on faith and violence against women was featured by one new funders and plan to roll out our community champions training to maternity champions in Hammersmith.
