Do you want a better understanding of women’s health and sexual well being?

Do you want to boost your confidence?

Then come and acquire practical leadership skills to engage communities!

FORWARD, in partnership with London Borough of Hounslow, is seeking African women to take part in Women’s Health and Leadership training.

We are looking for women who would be able to relate to the women in communities that practice female genital mutilation (FGM), provide positive role models and be accessible within these communities. In turn you will be trained on communication skills and health issues and provided with community outreach and leadership skills. You will also receive a certificate.

The training is free, travel expenses will be reimbursed and refreshments and food will be provided.

When: March 11, 18 and 26, April 15, 18 and 29

Where: The BridgeLink Centre, Ivybridge Estate, Summerwood Road, Iselworth TW7 7QR

We are looking for women able to:

Do outreach work within their community
Use skills taught during training within their community

How much time?

You will need to attend the 6 half day trainings, as above

Skills needed:

Listening
Speaking
Writing English
